The second edition of “Intro Stats,” by DeVeaux, Velleman, and Bock, is coming out. To request an examination copy, please contact your local Addison-Wesley representative ([email protected]). This (or its sister book, “Stats”) is my favorite undergraduate introductory statistics book.
According to Amazon, the second edition was released March 5, 2005. There are numerous used copies available (interesting comparison between the new and used prices). Are you perhaps referring to a third edition?
