OmniGraphSketcher

Aleks points me to this graph plotting program. I don’t know anything about it, but, hey, maybe it’s good.

Looks good, but only for Mac? I do like Inkscape, and this looks easier than Inkscape for simple plots.

OmniGraphSketcher is excellent. I used it with great success for taking notes in an economics class. I was able to create simple graphics matching the professor's blackboard work at nearly his pace.

I've used this software in my Econ courses to create graphs for presentations and exams.

Very basic, but also very intuitive and useful. Highly recommended!

I have been using their other program Omnigraffle for years. It is completely awesome, I can say enough nice things about it. I have been eyeing graphsketcher, just waiting for the right excuse to plop down the $40.

This was done in 1963 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mOZqRJzE8xg (really!)

Yep, OmniGraphSketcher is AWESOME, but I've decided that the annoyances of OSX outweigh the benefits (pretty, mostly). Don't let the mac people lie to you, it's a nice enough operating system, but it's not as efficient or as fast as, say, Windows XP. So now I'm looking for a Windows alternative to Omnigraphsketcher. Ugh. How has no one else come up with the same idea–there's MILLIONS of Windows PCs!
