With a bonus assignment being to provide better R code and or techniques.

And a possible graduate student assignment to investigate what percentage of examples in graduate stats texts (e.g. Cox & Hinkley) could be displayed this way (reducing the number of parameters to least number possible).

  1. Assignment answer: BRAAAIIINS!

In fact, this is the correct answer to all assignment and exam questions in this course.

Bonus problem: what is the probability that I am the only person making this joke? Solution: BRAAAIIINS!

  2. Corey – you are absolutely correct – I am just extracting the brains from the usual Bayesian MCMC incarnation and trying to lay them out more digestibly on an easy serve platter

    with apologies to the squeamish
