That’s all we need . . . people blogging who have nothing useful to say!

  1. I've never had the out of ideas problem. My problem is normally that I need to figure out which of the posts I want to do I can actually fit into the time I have available.

  2. I have to point out that you just did them one better. Instead of blogging with nothing to say, you blogged about having nothing to say.

    Meta-nothing?

  3. Ted, you're commenting about Andrew blogging about having nothing to say about having nothing to say. I just wanted to comment on that, but have nothing further to add ;)

  4. High on my list of reasons why school is evil is what it teaches kids about writing.

In school, you write because you have a blank space that you're being asked to fill. As you advance to higher levels, you often write in order to impress others with how smart you are.

Rarely if ever do you write for the purpose of communicating information or ideas.
