Ben Goodrich, one of the Stan developers, will be leading the session. Bring a laptop, if that’s what you’re working on. We’ll cover:
• installation of CmdStan, RStan, and possibly PyStan (if we can find an expert)
• work through parts of the Stan language through a few models

Anyone who’s planning to take my Bayesian Data Analysis class this fall should attend if possible.
Where will the BDA class be taught? I’m guessing it’s probably at Columbia, but know you taught a similar class at Harvard a while ago; would love to sign up, if so…
Columbia. I will be teaching a class at Harvard in spring but it won’t be BDA as they already had someone else teaching it this year.
Any chance of a webcast of this?

Any way remote users can participate? Send in email / blog-post questions live maybe?

Would be great if you at least record it so we can see the video and email you our questions. I am sure would be useful for future students also.
